Arctic Space Technologies
Founded in 2019, Arctic Space Technologies owns and operates the Arctic Space Center in Piteå, Northern Sweden. We host antennas and provide ground station passes for satellite operators.
Who we are
We provide the ground infrastructure that satellite operators need to deploy antennas and deliver data. Our site in Northern Sweden is powered by wind and hydro, with redundant fiber and local installation and operations support.
The Arctic Space Center sits next to the KoloDC datacenter near the polar circle, connected over redundant fiber to European points of presence and internet exchange points. Built in two years, taken into operation in 2022, it is Sweden’s largest privately owned ground station facility. Eutelsat OneWeb, Viasat, Airbus, ESA, Kinéis, Kepler and Bradford Space use it or work with us.

“Within two years we have built one of Sweden’s largest ground station facilities. We see ourselves as the catalyst of advanced satellite services. Together we make it possible.”
